Manual Ground Balance (0-99) - With the coil in the air, press and hold the GB button and adjust using the up and down arrow buttons. You can check the ground balance setting at any time by having the coil in the air and momentarily pushing the GB button. In my experience the auto GB adjustment by pumping the coil fails to set the GB low enough for beach conditions. I would suggest setting the GB very low on a saltwater beach, in fact best results might be achieved with a setting of zero.
Frequency Adjust (F1-F8) - Press and hold the GB button and adjust using the volume up and down buttons. This might be useful to stop any interference and chatter from external electrical sources and nearby detectors. Again this adjustment is best performed with the coil in the air away from the ground to avoid the auto GB making adjustments to any previous manual settings.
Reset - You can reset the machine to factory default by holding down the power/menu button for 5 seconds when turning on the detector.
Jewelry/Coin Mode Use All Metal - You can enable all the target id bars in Jewelry/Coin Mode thus allowing you to hear the iron tone, in other words all metal. Use the menu button along with button 3 up/down to add the missing target id bars.
