I don't expect it to ever do as well as yours but I enjoy it! Recently found what I thought was a Saxon strap end and it only turned out to be a Roman Brooch!! The first of its kind ever found in Devon which is just insane! Fingers crossed our paths cross and I can buy you a pint or 2!!

Some time ago you tested a C Scope Pulse Induction detector with a favorable review. For beach work, are these still valid detectors or has the coming of the latest digital based detectors now made them redundant. Thanks for introducing me to the Quest range of affordable modern detectors.

Quick question about q30 and q30+. The wire less functionality on the q30 +. Why not buy a blue tooth transmitter and head phones off ebay for tenner.

Once you get the updated replacement parts for the Minelab, They are not too bad of a machine. But look at the tube reviews, Prepare yourself to fix the weak parts. Plastic still has a ways to go to be dependable.

Great helpful video, been detecting for 18 months, started with x10, first day out found a henry vi hammered penny, great little machine soon bought a mars discovery coil for it, vastly improved chirpiness. Found some great finds with it, more hammered coins, saxon brooch, pilgrims ampulla at about 13 inches deep. December bought q30 off ebay super pleased with it, also added mars coil, great machine, total of 26 silver coins thanks to quest detectors, totally agree with you fantastic machines.

Still tgis sems to be a little allover tge show with numbers but only just started out myself and after watching one guys youtube vid, showing gold coming in allover the show. I thought what does it matter! Just dig dig dig!

As a 74 year old I got into detecting a couple of years ago. I had a Whites 950 I think it was. I loved it, I found detecting was good for my health physically and mentally, I even found a cartwheel penny with it. After a lifetime of working with not one single hobby, I found detecting. Then my car was broken into and I lost everything. I live on a pension and so can’t replace my gear, I do miss getting out. I even have two untouched farm permissions, Hereford and Exeter. Do you have a very cheap one I could buy please.

Thanks for this.. its always nice to hear someone's honest reviews about things.. have you used a deus II at all?? If so, what do you think? I've been detecting for a year and have a vanquish 340 and a nox 600, I love them both and have found some amazing things.. Starting to consider getting a Deus II, although it's a totally different machine. What I've seen online so far, it looks very good. I live in the Midlands and mainly detect on pasture and in woodland.. I have tried beach detecting a few times but don't really like it.. Thanks again for your videos.. I've subbed. 😀

I did use all the detectors in this video, and agree totally on this video... In proportion of price, the Quest stands out the most.. you get fun and a simple to use detector who does more than the job. The Xp Deus and Deus 2 are my favorite in the pro range (but ist a bit to expensive I think ) Minelab is search wise a good detector but it breaks down to mutch. Nokta the legend I can't say a thing .. just got it last week .. have to make some digging time before I make a comment 😉. Greets from Holland 🇳🇱 Ruud

@@joedodsworth4301 That’s really weird, because I know at least four other people who had the same problem as me when testing. Maybe it’s a bad batch rather than it needing updating. I’m guessing you won’t update it as it runs so perfectly?

What is best is dependent upon the individual using it(experience/preference) and where they are using it(soil conditions, etc.) Then there are issues such as emi, blah blah blah. It is all individual and opinion based. In the end if you put the time in to learn your machines language all of the machines from the reputable manufacturers will produce finds as long as you get your coil over them.
