HI Tim. Your orientation and training location will depend on the type of position you apply to. We have training locations around the nation but not all train for all types of driving jobs. Hello, I applied for the tanker position at Schneider. Does Schneider reimburse shower? Or is there a designated area to shower?

Hi Julian, there are showers available for drivers at no cost at our various operating centers in the U.S. and Canada. Most truck stops also have showers that drivers can use. They do cost money, but as a Schneider driver, you can participate in the Pilot Flying J rewards program and you can use your rewards from fueling for showers. Many Schneider drivers do this and rarely pay for showers out of pocket. Hope this helps!

Typically, Dedicated accounts offer weekly home time and sometimes multiple times per week and daily home time.

It is not a LAW that you have to have a new physical when you start a new compsny. Might want to check your info. Im sure this is just a way to try and disqualify people and send them home.

Isnt a week otr with trainer for a driver with no experience kind of setting driver for failure? There is no way you can be safe with this amount of training

Hi Sharon. Our core value is Safety First and we make sure drivers are safe and ready to drive before they hit the road. Typically, drivers will have weeks of training via a trucking school before being hired on and going through our orientation.

Hi Bruce. Yes. You're allowed to bring a passenger after six months of safe driving. Safety First is our core value and there's nothing more important to us than safe driving habits. Experienced drivers may be eligible sooner.

We also require our drivers to have a residence in the United States and the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (which requires proof of U.S. residency). If you need assistance in obtaining Work Authorization from the CIS, you should contact the U.S. Consulate closest to your residence. Very Disappointed with your recruiting staff, I was trying to do the right thing in leaving current employer and your recruiter had her self interest above what is right. Her failure to return calls, no way to return e-mails to convey information. I expected better.
