Question Hour nn: 42 clerics issue fatwa against singer Nahid Afreen in Assam

As many as 42 clerics of Assam issued fatwa against a girl singer who had chosen her programme venue in the vicinity of a mosque and a graveyard.
Nahid Afreen, who had also participated in reality show, Indian Idol, reacted to fatwa, saying that she was shocked and broken, but decided not to quit singing.

If music was forbidden in Islam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Middle East and other Islamic countries would have banned it. No logic here.

Excellent program.Maulana Rishidi is too much for me because if his illusion that he is a better Muslim than others.His self aggrandizement is bad for Islam.
