A: Tell them the financial engineering story of how you’re going to make the VC a lot of money.
I see too many early stage or novice founders focused on how cool the product will be and how it’ll change the world. That’s all fine (and that passion is required), but it’s actually way easier to convince a VC to give you money, if you tell them a coherent story of how you’re gonna 10x their money really quickly and your strategic plan to do it is de-risked.
