Its my 2nd wear today, I cant get enough of it or constantly stop sniffing myself 🤣. When my clients come to have their hair done they always look forward to sampling my latest addition and always turn up without wearing a fragrance knowing they will get a spray. I can tell you out of the majority of my fragrances, they have gone absolutely gagga over this stunner. Its definitely back up bottle worthy 😍

Nice take on this! Bois Imperiale really was very intriguing when I tested it. Why I ended up getting Mon Vetiver is beyond me but I also find that interesting and slightly overlaps with Bois Imperiale. All the offerings by Essential Parfums, despite the lack of originality, are actually pretty good considering the price.

Extrait is even better, I had the pleasure of testing it but unfortunetlly I could not buy it. And I have ti say it's a shame it eill come 8n 30ml bittle, I wish they have 60ml. Same smell but so much smoother, like terre edt vs parfum

Edit: in those two days I bought and sold bottle of Bois Imperial. For me it's like watered Ganymede. Gany base dna is there but Ganymede is so much richer in every sense. For ppl Gany is to heavy to wear Bois is perfect but just not for me.
@anups7958 Жыл бұрын
I don’t find any similarity to Ganymede sharp metallic opening. And I don’t exactly recall the Ganymede mid-base so can’t say much about that…probably will get a decant to test again sometime. What I do find similarity to is Encre Noir mid-base…I get a beautiful vetiver, some patchouli, creamy sandalwood / powdery and sweet and fresh…something similar to high quality Ruh Khus attar mid-base. Projection is moderate and overall this smells fantastic! Woody, fresh, creamy, powdery and amazing! If Ganymede mid-base smells like this then I have to say the hype is real. Longevity is around 6-7 hrs on my skin and then maybe another 1-2 hrs as faint skin scent. Packaging is utter rubbish. Sprayer is ultra-fine mister and I ended up doing doing 20+ sprays cause I was not sure if was landing on my skin.

Has this been reformulated? Got a fresh bottle recently, all the reviews were raving about strength and longevity and quality. Mine smells as if it hasn't macerated yet. I have to use like 10 sprays for it just to have a normal fragrance strength where i can discern the DNA. Longevity is like 4 hours max on my skin. Extremely disappointed. I was expecting something quite strong like the kenzo homme edt/edp but more fresh and airy.
@QuestioningScents Жыл бұрын

@@QuestioningScents Hey thanks for the quick answer.I see so others had similar experiences. Indeed I think my nose is simply anosmic to the molecules in this one then. I'll let it sit for a month and see if it gets stronger.

Hi Matt, nice review! I know the house but I've never decided to try any of their fragrances. I will test some of them (figue infusion, nice bergamote, ...). I have a question, did you try "Dehn al oud Asloobi" by Lattafa? If not, can you test it and give your opinion? I have it but, I don't know which perfume it's trying to clone. It's a nice perfume.

Yeah, the packaging screams "ECO!!!" and other awkward virtue signals. Other than that, the scent itself is amazing. I tend to overspray it, but it never gets offensive.
@allNicksAlreadyTaken2 жыл бұрын
Maybe they really mean it when they try to do eco-friendly packaging? How do you know it's just virtue signalling? Maybe it's not eco related at all and they just want to save some money on packaging (which I personally also consider quite irrelevant).
