Questions & Speculation | Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail [Launch Trailer]

With FFXIV's Dawntrail early access starting here on June 28th, I thought it would be fun to go over the recent Launch Trailer and give my guesses for the story. I don't expect everything here to be right, but I figured it'd be fun to do anyway.

Solution Nine being this advanced and large, yet still somehow evading Garlemald's attention is definitely going to need a hell of an explanation.

I think it's very important to note that solution 9 does not appear on the map in game from patch 6.55, nor was it visible on the map that appeared in the launch trailer. I'm leaning more and more towards thinking that solution 9 is going to appear at some point during the story.

@@normalmighty This is also something I've considered. There's a point in the launch trailer where the dome seems to be expanding. So possible that the vault is a portal or something.
