This is why I so admire Sen Imee Marcos. She seems to have a very good relationship with her three sons whom she brought up singlehandidly and inspite of all the challenges the Marcos family faced for almost 4 decades. You can see how strong their family values are. Hats off to her!

I was still 3 years old when PFEM left the Presidential seat and had never witnessed his actual achievements. But the stories and admiration towards his works which I heard from older generations made me a loyalist in mind and in heart. RIP PFEM and thank you for all that you did for this country and most especially, for dedicating your life in the service of the Filipinos! You are our unsung and underated hero who died with a heartbreak knowing that your love of country was sullied unjustly. Vindication did not come immediately, but it was the sweetest, because it came from all the Filipinos - young and old - who realized in their hearts the work that you did and the manipulations made to discredit and dishonor you. As the saying goes, you can never put a good man down.
