This is pure gold! These answers Joan has to Quest’s ? Are outstandingly straightforward and seemingly honest. Held my ear thru cooking an entire Bacon ham-n-eggs and pancake breakfast. I’ve no doubt it will do the same when I listen again. Thank you

Totally agree. So many interviews with Joan ask the same questions she's been forced to answer a million times. I really liked the early years information about her parents and how her family was moved around so much that it no doubt had an effect on how she adapted or didn't adapt to relationships. I can relate. Good stuff from a really good soul.

On of my musical heroes! Love how up front and so honest. What I have always loved about her.

This is yet another example of how great this podcast is. I was a black blues kid from Clarksdale, Mississippi, who discovered Joan Jett and the Blackhearts after having seen Prince open for Rick James and knew that the blues is the fertile soil for everything great.

One of these days someone will ask her if she told her parents she needed a left-handed guitar. I've wondered if it was difficult to adapt to the right handed Silvertone. Or maybe she's ambidextrous.

Good rapport with The Roots... No way is there a Joan Jett "soft album" in the works unless you record her sound asleep.
