Thank you for taking us with you. It’s so pleasant to recognize the campsites and views. I love those lakes.

We just did some of your route a few weeks ago. The portage to Jesse from Oriana was about 150m longer for us as the water level was too low to paddle the small creek. I'm curious why you guys don't invest in lightweight camp chairs like Helinox or Big Agnes? I never miss your trips. Keep 'em coming!

Thanks. I wouldn’t have wanted to that portage any later in the year. It’s funny you should say that about chairs. We just bought 2 of the helinox ground chairs to try. We’ve always done what we can to keep the weight and space as low as possible, but these new chairs are small and light.

@@brentandellesoutdooradventures I had one but traded up to a Chair One. The sitting height is a significant improvement. The major benefit of the ground chair is that it doesn't sink into soft ground (I use mini tennis balls on the feet of my Big Agnes chair and the rocking chair accessory on my Chair One). And you may find that you'll ride out the rain in your NoBugZone during rain events instead of your tent as ground water is not an issue when you're in a chair. Nice Canoe by the way. Is it a Keewaydin 16? Love the carbon Kevlar gunwales.

We’re planning a Temagami trip for early September. So we’ll get to try out the little chairs. Our canoe is a Prospector. I would like to try a Keewatin. Perhaps one day.

Do you two go every year? It seems so. I need to go more often.

I’ve done my best to go every year. I’m getting older, and want to enjoy it as much as I can
