Hello sir, I just wanted to let you know that I pulled and tested my first Trinidad Moruga Scorpion pepper from my garden today. Your channel inspired me to commence my own hot pepper patch journey. It also puts into perspective how much of an absolute TANK you are in your pepper eating abilities. Up until now the hottest thing I have had is a habanero. I was caught off guard by the initial sweetness (keyword INITIAL!). Can't wait to put them into a sauce! Thank you for your videos. God bless you and your family and congratulations on the article in the paper! well deserved!!

A couple of inches? Wow! We get about twelve per year here in Boise. Here they r eally grow better in pots than beds, though. I've learned a lot from you so far.
@7PotClub3 жыл бұрын
But we had less than an inch all summer before these recent rains. Our native flora need a lot more than we're getting. Thanks a lot for watching!

Local fame AFTER global fame. If you were able to join up with an entrepreneur and get a organic (or at least no pesticide) hot sauce company going I'd buy a bunch. Rock on Rob and Kat!

Thanks Effo! There is Scoville Scalé for hotheadsofficial.com. Pretty sure Tim doesn't use pesticides.

I’m looking forward to your comments on the 3 Gal grow bags. I’ve used some this year, but I’ve been fairly selective about what went in those vs. the 5 Gal. I wonder if it had to do with your drought (we had ours in May and June here, July was just grey and cold). I’ll find out in the next episode. cheers!
@7PotClub3 жыл бұрын
Probably is drought-related. More in the next video!

I feel bad for you bud, here in South Texas we've been getting record rain and temps that barely have broken 100 maybe 10 Days this summer. My Chili Piquins, Trinidad Scorpions, Reapers, Ghost Peppers, Red Caribbean Habaneros, Cowbell Cayennes, and Hot Thai Peppers are flourishing like mad.
@7PotClub3 жыл бұрын
The plants are getting there, but this is the driest year in decades. Glad yours are doing great!
@matthewmohri99903 жыл бұрын
@@7PotClub What's odd is that it's the driest year of the decade for every place else but South Texas. I am sorry that you are experiencing what we here experienced for the last 18yrs..It sucks trust me.
@kelvinsteffen97073 жыл бұрын
Yes, definitely the driest year this year here in Arizona. It is my first time seeing no peppers on the plants at Home Depot, Lowes or Walmart. I remember like 5-10 years back there was like lots of peppers on their plants back then. It is getting hotter and very less rain over the years. Pretty much all my 12 big variety pepper plants I grew from seed, did not give me more than 1 pepper and that was only a couple of them and the rest none. My Bonnie habanero did the best and gave my over 30 ripe peppers and I have like a little over 10 that are ready to be picked 😁🌶🍽. Literally I ate 26 habaneros in less than 2 days less than 2 weeks ago since they were starting to go bad. Puke 🤮 warning ⚠️ was my attempt to eat all of them diced on lasagna that same night and I had a quarter to half to go then saved it for the next day. 🥵🌶🌶🌶

Hey! I have a question. If you cross two peppers of different genus, ( say chinense and baccatum) what will the resulting genus be?
@7PotClub3 жыл бұрын
Af far as I know, it's just called a cross. I've not heard of any new genera being established. If anyone has additional info I would welcome it!
