Which alternative software can be used for clipping the image instead of Erdas. I used Qgis for clipping multiple rasters but a single band can be selected there? Please tell me which Landsat product you have used?
@pratyushtripathy27505 жыл бұрын
I use QGIS these days, raster clipping is easy. In the processing toolbox, try GDAL or SAGA tools for clipping the raster. I think I used Landsat 5.

Really great I got one question, How do we get the data or figure to be added to arc map. Like the tif file for the study area of interest for free
@pratyushtripathy27505 жыл бұрын
You can find the data (here Landsat) at earthexplorer.com which is a United States Geological Survey hosted portal. These are the basics of remote sensing, I highly recommend you get yourself familiar with these before heading further for analysis.

How to add the data that u added in between? We are working on making LULC maps for delhi but how can we get that delhi data ?shape of delhi or cutting the whole map just to delhi?
@pratyushtripathy27505 жыл бұрын
You can use the latitude and longitude extent to define the area of interest, shapefile would be easier. By the way, just because you mentioned Delhi, see if this time series land cover suffices your purpose: data.mendeley.com/datasets/8thw5fb2t3/1

How to make simulation urban growth with GIS?
@pratyushtripathy27506 жыл бұрын
Feri, for that you need to create multiple time period LULC, then you have to use any of the already defined methods such as Cellular Automata, Markov Chain, Logistic Regression, etc. You can find an example here: www.researchgate.net/publication/325693274_Urban_Growth_Modeling_Using_Logistic_Regression_and_Geo-informatics_A_Case_of_Jaipur_India

Do you know how to put greater than but less than in raster calculator?
@pratyushtripathy27507 жыл бұрын
I think you can the use the 'Reclassify (3D Analyst)' to get what you wish.
