Thank you VERY much. I love the old-world sensibility of getting something done simply with good materials! I have gotten lost on step 46 or so with other videos. This is much more accessible for someone trying to learn. Maybe when my first window fails I will be able to follow the 80-step window videos. I think in my grandfathers era when many things were done by hand, being practical and fast was very important. Very practical, fast, and understandable!

Thank you for sharing a beautiful simple window, we do have a lot of bugs in my area so a screen would be nice, maybe you could show adding a screen?

Hi there - I have just made three of these for a lean-to shed I am building. I discovered when building the first one that the outer frame needs to be about 8mm larger than the box containing the window part and this additional space allows the window to open. Apart from that - perfect method for making shed windows - many thanks

And you are calling this quick and dirty? No way..... Nothing but good workmanship...
@ImWriiight6 жыл бұрын
Sttm35 , It has its cut corners. It certainly isn’t how the wall should be framed, and a mortised window frame would be much stronger. I’m not complaining really, but this isn’t a window done strictly by the book. I’m glad He prefaced with a warning about craftsmanship, and I just think we should acknowledge that not everybody should use this as a template for themselves.
