I built the door on my storage shed the same way except I put the 2x4s turned so the door was thicker and I filled it with styrofoam packing peanuts I had laying around just in case I someday wanted to weatherize the shed. I figured better in my door than in the garbage can. Really enjoying this series!

I made some trusses similar to this about 40 years ago. I used wood glue and galvanized nails back then. I preloaded them 1/2” in 20’. The shop is still in very good condition. Good video. New subscriber.

Looking good! One tip I would pass along is put some 4” casters on your wire rack shelf. I did that a few years ago and it works great! Makes it easy to clean and for now will let you move it easier during construction. Can’t wait to see the next one and what color you pick😎

I agree with David here. Put casters on rack shelf. I bought mine from Costco, those already come with casters, but i had one from some other place and ordered the casters from amazon. Makes is so much easier to move around if needed.

The secret is that you didn't spare the screws on the door. I am addicted to my router. It is an intimidating tool until you use it and have the ooohhh moment. Why didn't I use it earlier. I am going to AC my workshop in one of the doors. I was skeptical about doing it but you have convinced me it's a great idea. Thks..

True... screwed the devil out of it! :) I only have one router and it's lived its sad life in the extension wing of my table saw. I rarely think of using it until well after the fact. Poor Mr. Router...
