every car in the entire world has a fuel filter from factory

No denying that at all, however the factory fuel filter wasn't rated for filtering particles as fine as this new one. Also, he had a mechanical lean condition with the factory fuel system, the new in-line filter prevents the build up of air in the system from swirling and has since had the problem go away throughout the whole powerband
