Hey darlings embark on my loc journey with me. Its been a year and 3 months with my permanent loc extensions/implants and I have already learnt how to do my own hair.
In this video, I will be demonstrating how to twist and palm roll your locs to prep them for styling. Followed by a tutorial on my signature hairdo : Faux bangs with a bun.

I dont understand why everybody os saying you talk to much. If anything to me it made the video more entertaining because youre not just sitting there twisting the entire video youre actually engaging and explaining your problems with your hair. Some people just have a short attention span i guess..

Your locks are beautiful. I have used rose water and and moisturized with vitamin E , coconut oil, and castor oil. Washing your hair often does dry your scalp oil your scalp every other day and keep it in a satin bun at night helps. Someone that helped me when I watched Yannie the Loctician. One thing she said is water dries your hair. How it helps

I love the method of twisting it in a little ball to dry, seem like it would be easier than putting a lot of clips in.

@@kandlelocs7758 hmn, what I learned is no matter the length of your locs, there’s styles you can achieve you just need to be creative! If I’m not mistaken your hair is bob length, maybe research bob styles and see how you can implement them on your locs

This is a tip, once you know where you want your hair to be before putting it in a ponytail, bend your back down with your hair hanging low to catch it up. It makes it so much easier.

I'm about 6 1/2 weeks in trying to figure out why some comb the new growth of hair. Isn't the goal to lock the new growth as well? (You mentioned combing thru to detangle the hair, but seemed to struggle a bit in explaining it (i'm sorry, not throwing shade, just want to understand is all) I do understand why some wait longer to get re-twists. Hey hey! Yes certainly, but it’s also dependent on reinforced it is! I only use hair ties on my hair, I know other people stitch their style in place. If your style is stitched or reinforced with wool then it will be a lot easier to wash your hair and it won’t get ruined!
