I need to use quilt tacks! Thanks for the informative tutorial. I like the idea of using jelly roll strips to achieve a scrappier look than using fat quarters as suggested by the pattern.

Great video and content. I just subscribed and am looking forward to more from you. I am a new beginner and appreciate the tips you give along the way. I have not seen anyone do the quilt tack and think that will be very helpful. i have only made 3 quilt tops and am very nervous about finishing the quilts as I am afraid I will make a mess and ruin the tops..

So glad it helped! Happy quilting!

I share your fear of quilting the quilt...that is my least favorite part, too. I can't afford to send them to a long-armer each time. You just have to "go for it". We learn thru practice. I just made a "quilt as you go" one so I was able to quilt the 12" blocks separately. I enjoyed that process. Since it was a scrap quilt, I tried a different design on each block. Can't wait to do another one. Good luck!

You need to do what Donna Jordan does when she shows a pattern designed by someone else.. She doesn't give the strip sizes. Do you realize that you just gave the pattern away and people don't need to buy it.!!!
@jannwebb Жыл бұрын
It’s totally easy to figure out the cutting sizes from looking at the mat
