Never send your amitoys for longer than an hour unless you're not gonna be playing, you get much more sending every hour

I am lvl 39,.. and have leveled up cooking to 7 in just a few minutes. I wouldnt say you HAVE to wait til 50. Considering there are codex that requires you to cook to get the rewards.

Try to lvl it up to 20 before you hit 50 and you will see what I am talking about. The ingredients are really hard to come by before you hit 50. And hitting lvl 50 only takes about a day at max. So minus we’ll get it out of the way and collect all the ingredients in the way so you can max out cooking.

i think they fixed the salt drop on megalobsters etc... i got 7 in few mins while farming a crossbow there

How do you send amitoi to collect stuff for you ?

You go into the Amitoi house (if you don’t know how I show you in the video) and then you interact with the book/map looking thing in the middle of the table in that room. The map opens up and you can select area and what amotioi to send! You can also see rewards

Level 17 Cook here. Where do you get Wine and Starfish? I've tried fishing at night in Saurdoma and have never caught one. Also I wouldn't recommend swapping out the high quality fish for low-quality. You really want to be using blues.

Starfish should be in all the ocean water. However I have not caught one either and there is not an extensive fishing guide out there to look it up... I am thinking about maxing out fishing next so I should be able to let you know in a few days. Wine is not in the game yet to my knowledge. I use the high quality fish for the recipes I want to cook so have higher chance on being better but while I level I been using the common ones.

Starfish is insanely rare I think. I’m Fishing 15 and got 1 starfish so far.

@@ShadowHamster1 I'm fishing 17 and I've never caught one. I've read that you can only catch them at night. It's strange though because they're marked as a common fish in the Codex.

@@173muppet that’s insane. They fucked up with the cooking in my eyes. Wine not in the game, farming cooking mats is extremely rare, I wanted to get some crab nippers and got none in 20 minutes that’s ridiculous. Btw in the description of the starfish is: it’s really hard to catch, and that’s true. Took me about 30 seconds to get it out of the water.

@@ShadowHamster1 that's funny because every time I go to farm Crab Nippers I seem to get dozens in just 10-15 minutes. It just needs to be raining to get them. I really don't understand why they include a 'How to Acquire' for every possible item in the game but then exclude the special cooking items.

Sorry to hear that. To summarize cooking! Don’t lvl till 50 Buy your daily cooldowns! Collect all ingredients! Lvl up till 8 Then power level with Milk! 🥛 That’s it! Hope this helps you.
