I recently recommended the Lux series to my friend and she said it's the best series she's ever read and nothing will top that series. While my taste has changed through the years, I can still say that the series is amazing and would recommend 100%

I feel like it is really hard to focus on anything right now. I have been trying to pick up some shorter reads myself as well since I tend to read a lot of long heavy fantasy books. I actually have a Curse so Dark and Lonely on my shelf but haven't read it yet, I need to pick it up soon. The Cruel Prince is also one that's been sitting on my shelf for a bit that I need to get to. I have been reading the Air Awakens Series on Kindle Unlimited and while it is a 5 book fantasy series it is a really easy read and it goes super quick.

Yes to A Curse so Dark and Lonely. I absolutely devoured the book even though it was somewhat lengthy! I still need to read the sequel though, so scared it won't be as good
