Your design is wonderful! Definitely NOT sloppy as some of the people here say. Your lines are very clean, no shakiness. For goodness sake, it's a 4 minute design. As someone who is just starting henna tattoo at a theme park, i'm training to finish designs under 5-10 minutes and I can't even get my lines to look that efficient. This video was inspiring to me, thank you for the information!

Some of these comments are so rude!! This video isn't for you to just " look at the design ", it's a video to help those who want to learn how to make designs or place them. If you don't like that the lovely and very talented Khadijah is speaking in the beginning, then simply skip to the henna and don't complain!! Appreciate the fact that she is explaining everything she's doing.

The color of henna usually is more red toned in results. It's hard to control results as everyone's skin and chemistry also affect the results. Jamila can tend to push more browner tones but you'll have to play around with it a bit as well.

Are you on the west coast or east coast? Humidity makes a difference. But for let's say 2 tbsp of henna powder you use only about 1 tsp EO and 1 tsp sugar. It shouldn't run. But if you're hand is also very hot, like you're warm in general....that would possibly make it run too. do you freeze yours or use fresh?
@yasnahossain66518 жыл бұрын
no, actually now thst i think about it does look elegant wnd beautiful

I just try not to add to much sugar or EO's. It's handmade so I have control on how my henna paste comes out. Why do you find yours runny? What happens?
Play around with it by testing the paste out on yourself and other people to see the color results. Brown toned henna results are not by using a different liquid, as it won't make it less red. The brown or red tones will still be dark. I'd recommend then to see if it'll be more brown to use different EO's such as eucalyptus for a brown result with Jamila henna. But again you'll have to experiment and play around with the paste to test it out :)
@yasnahossain66518 жыл бұрын
I prefer doing it slowly because then it will turn out better

Is it true that black henna will give you scars of your design? Just wondering because i want one like that exactly but I did more research and I heard people have a real bad allergic reaction to black Henna.
@malicahamilton9 жыл бұрын
Black henna us bad it contains a chemical they use for hair dye so it's harsh on the skin
@tripswithjess9 жыл бұрын
Black henna can leave AWFUL scaring and marks on you, DONT USE IT! You can buy lots of henna that is a dark maroon colour which will look blackish, but if you ever see the henna being used on you coming out BLACK then wipe it of straight away! :)
