I am only doing this because this video comes up first when searching on changing the blade on a Porter Cable Tiger Saw. For those who came here to learn how to change the blade - Squeeze the trigger slowly to extend the saw blade so it is all the way out exposing the metal knurled knob that the blade sits in. Unplug the saw. Twist the knurled knob away from you (if the blade is pointing left) and hold it. While holding the knob (or it will snap back) pull the blade out. Then stick the new blade in and release the knob.Tug on the blade making sure it is firmly in ... that's it. By the way the blade in this video is installed upside down.

how do you install a blade on this saw? there's that piece that pivots on the inside but nothing seems to actually lock the blade in securely.
