An addition to the build of my Tiny Tool Grinder.
A quick change system for the diamond wheels.
See the previous videos for more information on this build.
The collet holder in the video isn't a ER32 as I wrote in the video.
It's a ER20, sorry for that.

I have now received a great offer from a friendly KZbinr. He is willing to make drawings of my Tiny Tool Grinder! So, if all goes well, a video will be released soon with drawings and some detailed information about the construction.

As always impressive work, esp. considering that you use small (Proxxon) tools. Greetings, Stefan.

It's so important to have sharp tools. I have to start building something like this. Where do you buy the grinding wheels? Thanks!

Would this be able to cut similar to a deckle tool and cutter grinder?

I don't have a Deckel, so I cannot compare. I'm guessing the popular Deckel S0 is more rigid and more stable (way more mass, way bigger, larger bearings). My tiny grinder has a capacity of max. 10mm, I think the Deckel S0 can handle 17 mm (5/8""). The S0 has a slightly more powerful motor, but the RPM is fixed at 4500 rpm I think, mine is variable (0 to 10.000). And, I do think this tiny grinder is capable of grinding everything you can grind on a Deckel, and more.

Yes It looks really nice. Was thinking of trying to build one like yours. Deckles are so expensive now. The used ones are expensive here in the states also.

The Deckels are OK but still have a lot of flex in them . That grinder you made looks pretty good-of course rigidity is everything . I'll be making my own cutter grinder based on the modern style of end mill/ drill grinders . I enjoyed your video .

Was that really an ER32? It looked smaller....

No need to apologize. I just wanted to double check and make sure it was correctly documented in case someone tries the same.@@Michel-Uphoff

Interesting, if a little marred by the wierd 'computer voice' used.

Yes, that's "Brian" a text to speech synthesizer. Believe me, his pronunciation is way better than mine 😉

@@Michel-Uphoff the problem is that Brian's emphasis within words & phrases is often all wrong sadly

@@pcka12 Yes, I know. But he's still way better than me. (I could speak Dutch, I have no emphasis problems at all with that, but I don't think that would be very helpful) 😉

@@Michel-Uphoff I am sure that is true, but I bet that if you hear a computer voice in Dutch you find it odd. English has numerous accents but none are as weird as 'computerese'!
