Hi, I am afraid of hair breakage and I’d love to finger detangle my hair but it’s very hard for me. So I’m looking for a detangling brush and Tangle Teezer seems to be a good option, but I’ve read a lot of comments of people saying that these combs cause split ends. I don’t know what to do. I think your opinion on this would be helpful :)

I like this brush a lot, just wish it had a bit more grip on the handle as it can get quite slippery when you have products on your hands. Is it far to say that you are loosely following the black girl curlys method of no oil, no butters, I’ve implemented this way of styling and am loving it. ✌🏾❤️🙏🏾🤗

So TRUE…I dropped it many times in the shower and the handle sounded like it would break/separate…I gently laid it on the side of the tub 😐

@@MizzBFlye Here’s a tip I discovered take a rubber band or even a hair tie, if it’s long tie it around the handle until you can fit your hand through it make sure it’s on the handle tightly that’s how my hand doesn’t slip but sometimes it can unravel if the hairtie is slippery

4c lady here, recently purchased it and it's definitely a game changer. Make detangling so much smoother and faster. It feels really gentle on the hair and my hair is fully detangle. I can only recommend it. It did not believe all the praise but I've proven wrong. It's the best purchase I've made

I don’t have 4c hair but I didn’t like that brush. I noticed more split ends/it was breaking my hair off. I took it back 2 weeks later and 2 people used the brush and he had tighter curls with some 4c hair mixed with 4b. He noticed breakage. I honestly don’t know why this brush is so popular. Sometimes you can think the brush is detangling smoothly but it could be breaking your hair off without noticing. I would say try it and just pay attention to the health of your hair as well. The bristles are flexible so it does make for a smoother detangling but I’m very attentive of my hair and I noticed more breakage and split ends. Maybe that’s why the people using the brush, when it time to trim, they are wondering why their ends look so bad💯

I don’t have the one with a handle, but I do have a tangle teezer. I don’t like it that much. It always feels like it’s tearing at my hair and it takes awhile to get the section detangled. I prefer the Wet Brush. I feel like it actually works through knots vs tearing them out.
