Hey Chris, fellow Cayman owner here, 987.2 base. Your car looks and sounds great, nice mods too! You're right, every time you drive a Cayman, it's an "event!"

I agree going with an 18" set of wheels. It will still look good and improve the comfort levels quite a bite with a new set of tires. I like Porsche's stock cayman 5 spoke wheels that has silver spokes but black insides/lip. Also, go for the Cayman R look! The vinyl wrap and the black side air vents go well together.

+Chris Neuman hopefully around April I can start seriously looking. Looking for an 06-08 to be my daily. Trying to decide between the base or S. I don't need crazy fast I just want it to handle. I'm excited to see how the decals turn out! Enjoy the car bro, it's beautiful.

I'm considering getting a Cayman exact color too however I live in Chicago and wouldn't be sure if this would hold up to the winter? I've seen mustangs and other pony cars in the winter how would this fair?

It was an upgrade in the context of a daily drive. Plus loads more power and torque over the base Cayman, much more comfortable and tons more tech
