Hi 👋 Phil from Phil, Great little project quick and easy To make for doing craft fairs, I have been busy over the last two weeks, Each week I have taken a tree down, The first one is very bad inside with extreme rot and I found a dead hornets nest inside it, My property runs alongside a public footpath in the forest and I am responsible for the upkeep of the side of the footpath these two trees were dangerous so they had to come down, they weren’t as bad as one I took down about two years ago It was about 20 to 25 inches in diameter quite tall but when it hit the ground it disintegrated I can’t believe how rotten it was needless to say it took me a long time to clear it up. That’s enough of me jabbering on I am spoken in the body for about 3 to 4 weeks, Look forward to your next tutorial on your creation and your piece of art. stay safe, PHIL FROM THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOULIN.
@PhilAndersonShadyAcresWoodshop Жыл бұрын
Sounds like a big responsibility keeping the footpath safe, Phil. Around here, if a tree falls over it falls over, I usually just leave it right where it is unless it crosses my driveway. 😃

Hi 👋 Phil, about 3 years ago, I had a tree that was hanging over the electric cables, I managed to pull it upright, but electric company Sure what I was doing as they were working on property next door, they ended up taking it down for me, but dropped the last 15’ feet into the river, so I had to pull the rest of it out of the river with electric winch. Firewood 🪵 for next year, I have to harvest wood a year or so in advance for my Log fire . As this is my only form of heating, I hope you are keeping safe and well, PHIL FROM THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOULIN
