Quick & Easy Fish Sandwiches | Aldi Recipes

We had a craving for fish sandwiches for dinner, and originally we were going to order out, but for over $30, I decided to run to Aldi instead! Are these healthy? No, of course not, but they were what we wanted and they were budget friendly! Sometimes a quick easy cheep dinner is what you want! Fast and easy dinners are our go to when we are busy, and they might not always be healthy, but you have to eat! Fish sandwiches are something Jamie has always enjoyed, and we do like to make them at home. These were by far the best made at home fish sandwiches we have ever done! Remember, if you don't have an Aldi, just find similar items at your local shopping place!
Ingredients:
Box of Frozen Fish or Fish Sticks
Deli Rolls
Shredded Lettuce
Cheese of Choice
Tartar Sauce OR make your own (Mayo, Dill Relish, Lemon Juice, and Dill weed)
Onion Rings, Fries, or whatever you want for your side!

Haha! It's because we also still buy the same mayo from the deli! We all have containers we fill from it (since it comes in 1 gallon containers, and that's A LOT of mayo for 2 people hahah)

We have Gorton fish Patty's and they fit on a regular hamburger bun , I also make my own tarter sauce but instead of dill relish I use bread and butter relish.

I put onion & pickles green tomatoes on my fish also. It is SO good. I’ve also done my fish in the air fryer, and although it was the crispiest and fastest it’s ever been…. Man that made a mess in my fryer 😂

I always make my own tarter sauce as well. I put curry powder in mine. That really looked good. I would have to have a side veggie though. Like green beans or something.

Anyways sounds like my Aldi's shopping list 😂 love the beer battered cod fillets, only regret is not to long ago it had more in package,but like everything else smaller package,less product and higher price 😞 these Days.Try Aldi's half sour pickles in refrigerated deli section think you will like them .i ran into a woman who was getting dill kind and told her they were better no not sour means they are half pickled,they are crunchy great tasting dill flavor but not over powering .think half the store was listening,have a hard time getting now😂 .going to make your enchilada casserole looks delicious .your family is always in our prayers 🙏💞 have a wonderful Sunday

We make our Tartar sauce with fresh chopped Dill pickle a little Dijon mustard and a splash of Woustershire sauce. I don't really care for sweet pickles so store bought Tartar sauce isn't that great in my opinion
