Oh my gosh Katie!! This is such an encouragement to me! My son started school last week so I started tackling the pile of furniture that had been building up in my garage. I thought I’d do a quick and easy flip on two matching end tables by painting their metal bases gold. Well….I did not do the prep work of sanding and priming. It peeled right off! I learned the hard way and after two more trips to the hardware store and countless days spray painting (and a few tears) I am almost done. Like you say “Is it perfect? No” and it didn’t have that quick flip I was hoping for, but I did learn a lot this week. Now to post this bad boy and move on.
