I'm glad to see you kept the integrity of the wood grain on the top of the table. I think this adds more value than if the entire piece was covered in layers of paint. In the future, I suspect solid wood pieces will be harder to come by and natural wood or gently washed wood will be more appreciated than it is now.

AMAZING!!!!! i have exactly the same table and will attempt to refinish as you did extraordinarily transformed this curb piece. So amazing to give new life to an old sad lady and with so much love transform her into an amazing beautiful Princess Royal to bow down to in awe!!! I just completed transforming my "brown " 1967 dining room set into a metallic white pearl beauty and recovering the chair seats into pale pearl grey leather!!!!
