I have just bought your rose cutter, set of 3, and so glad I came across this on how to use it correctly. This is brilliant. For some reason I did not get instructions with mine, but now I know how to use it. I already have the ball tool, so it's back to having another go, and getting it right this time LOL Many thanks.

I love this cutter. I have made multi colored roses using orange and yellow. I did one cut out orange then another yellow. I then cut those in half length wise and used the edible glue to fasten to the opposite. I used the roller to make sure there was a good bond between the two. Then I began the rolling and fold down process. They turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!

My Rose Cutter came yesterday. Today I am playing with it. I never thought I could create such beautiful roses and so quickly. I asked below about using modeling chocolate. I couldn't get the chocolate alone thin enough without it tearing, so I mixed the chocolate with fondant. It works beautifully! Thank you for creating this simple yet effective tool and showing us how to use it. God bless.

Amazing, can you use just sugar paste?
@cakecraftworld3 жыл бұрын
Hi there, you could but you won't be able to roll the sugarpaste as thinly and you would end up with a chunkier rose (it is likely to be more difficult as well). By using modelling or flower paste, you can roll it thinner and as the paste is more pliable it will be much easier and give you a much more delicate rose.

Well I Managed to make some reasonable roses, I think I didn’t roll my sugar paste thin enough though. I had a bit of a challenge to thin the edges without them fraying - is this likely to be the mixture of flower paste and fondant in the wrong quantities? As the person said below this is a no brainier, and is easy. I just need more practice. Thank you for this made my life a lot easier, well worth it and the video makes life even more simple thank you

Wonderful idea. I intend to purchase anyway. However, can these roses be wired for a sugar bouquet?
@cakecraftworld9 жыл бұрын
+Christine Bartholomew Hi there, these roses are not designed for wiring to add to a spray... these work best when directly attached to your cake or cupcake. If you wanted to find out how to wire a rose, we do have a video on this process but it involves attaching the rose petals individually rather that rolling round as in this method. Take a look here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2erooB4jKisj8k Thanks
