Quick faux dichroic resin (big hole beads)

In this tutorial I’m using Aurora Fusion Tubes,these iridescent inlay tubes work great for large big hole beads or other inlay work. You can leave the tubes semi-transparent or simply paint the inside for a more dynamic faux dichroic opaque look. Just place the tube over the center silicone post and cut off the tube for the right fit. Add resin to your mold slide on the Aurora tube pieces , cover with an optional piece of acrylic. Cure and there you have it. Fantastic looking beads. Thank you. Please subscribe and share.

Hi, do you mould release in your moulds?

Not on small molds but sometimes I do on large ones if I know I’m going to do a flood coat because it sometimes leaves a surface on the cast pieces and that could be because of the brand. Thank you! J
