I get the same issue when I sew with a 500 yd gen purpose thread on my brother 1500 sl, but when I switch to a 300 yd gen purpose thread my stitch looks like a regular stitch, and both threads are from the same MFG, coats and clark from walmart. Do you know why that happens?

How does this work for older machines with the bobbin on the side of the machine not the top?
@ritarogers900 Жыл бұрын
Hi how do I fix a slanting stitch
@gromessewing Жыл бұрын
Sometimes it could be the quality of thread, or the weave of your fabric. Depending on how often a slanted stitch pops up in your straight stitches, you may want to take your machine to your closest sewing machine dealer or service department and you may just need a tune up. We recommend either a Mettler or Gutermann All Purpose thread for your everyday sewing.

My problem is that my stitches are fine until I reverse stitching and then I get loops on top. Having a heck of a time finding a video trouble shooting this. Anybody have a suggestion?
@CelticHallows Жыл бұрын
I have the opposite problem - what if the top stitch looks beautiful but the bottom stitch just looks like a strait piece of thread that can be pulled right out.
