When i do long kegel holds for endurance i can squeeze and lift way harder and higher then doing the fast kegels. My question: do you have to squeeze as well as lift while doing fast kegels or only lift?
@TheFlowerEmpowered2 жыл бұрын
It’s both squeeze and lift with fast Kegels. Try doing them more spaced out and then gradually practice increasing speed. You could try the 30 day challenge on the channel as it utilizes different types of Kegels in different positions

Tighting and letting go down there, was hard to do. I thought i was supposed to tighten/lift it when i inhale, its so much harder to do tighten it when i exhale and release when I’m inhaling. Anyone else?
@TheFlowerEmpowered2 жыл бұрын
It can be hard, particularly if you have trained yourself to contract on inhalation and relax on exhalation. The pelvic floor naturally expands on inhalation (due to the diaphragm doming downwards causing an increase in intraabdominal pressure) and it lifts upwards on exhalation (due to reduction in intraabdominal pressure and the lift from the diaphragm. Have you tried hypopressive breathing exercises? They really exaggerate the upward lift when taking the apnea (stomach vacuum). You can learn more about the diaphgram to pelvic floor relationship in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqawmq1nj91kqJI and about hypopressives in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXabqaSXpdiLhas Let me know if the contraction in exhalation gets easier for you with practice 😊🌸

I do this all the time 😁 I didn't know that's what I was doing it for I'm celibate i just like to do a lot of different things with my pelvic floor because of my cesarean sections
@TheFlowerEmpowered4 жыл бұрын
As well as being good for orgasms, it’s also good for general pelvic floor function (maintenance of continence etc) so great to do even when celibate 😄👍🏻

@TheFlowerEmpowered4 жыл бұрын
Hi AllInOne, yes, these exercises are also good for guys. The pelvic floor muscles can help you to sustain an erection and stronger pelvic floor muscles can produce stronger orgasmic contractions 👍🏻

Hi Tariq, I have checked my notifications and can see you posted your comment twice. I have also checked the "held for review" comments and your comments do not show there. When I click to respond to your comment, they are not here. So I contacted KZbin support and they have said there is an issue and they will look into it. Meanwhile, I have copied the text for your comment and will reply to this comment with both your text and my response.

Why are you breathing the opposite way? You exhale you relax PC muscle, you inhale, you contract them.That's the correct way.
@TheFlowerEmpowered5 жыл бұрын
Blu Bain your breathing diaphragm and your pelvic floor work in synergy. When you inhale, your diaphragm expands creating a stretch on the pelvic floor due to an increase in intra-abdominal pressure. When you exhale, your diaphragm moves upwards and your pelvic floor is also lifted due to it being at the base of your abdominal cavity which is an air tight container. When you are starting to work on pelvic floor strength, you should contract on exhale as your pelvic floor is already lifting in a gentle contraction in rhythm with your exhale. If you watch the videos on Hypopressives exercises, there is one that shows how you can feel this relationship. If you follow my channel, you will see that the training advances over time to work with different types on contractions - some where you contract on inhale, some where you hold your contraction through your breath. If you think about your normal day as you go about your business, you will find that your pelvic floor will contract both with inhale and exhale. My advice: train your pelvic floor in different ways 😊
