I just want to thank you so much for doing these videos. I’m a young girl with a lot of physical trauma from over a half-year of three continuous (and very large) utis at once. My pelvic floor muscles were so tight that when I went for a surgery to help with it, my doctor was amazed that even under general anesthesia, my pelvic floor muscles were incredibly tight. This video especially helps me to relax as I recover from that surgery and hopefully get better and better. To anyone else out there like me: you’re not alone, and we will get through this! Especially with channels like The Flower Empowered. And of course, to anyone that has beat a problem like this and taken their lives back: congratulations, I’m happy for you and I hope that I will soon reach that stage as well with this channel! Thank you!!

@Mr. MindOverMatter Yes so many doctors told me it was all in my head. I went to so many doctors that I can’t even remember most of their names. If you suspect a hidden infection, I’d look for a doctor with a good lab. Different labs test for different strains of bacteria, and unfortunately not many labs are as thorough as possible. I’m not sure what area you’re looking for a doctor in, but the best I can do is tell you to look into it. If there is no infection, or if an infection is found and treated and you still have symptoms, you may have pelvic floor dysfunction like I did. If this ends up being the case, I’d suggest finding a pelvic health and wellness center near you.

I know I'm still at the beginning of my journey but THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Xx

Thank you for this!! Wish I had this 20 years ago when I went to the drs for the multiple UTIs I didn't have and lived on antibiotics. The drs seriously were "shrug". Finally I had a capable dr that sent me to physical therapy for my pelvic floor and I was educated there. My life is different now. Women were so engrained with "just dealing" with vagina pain and it's not right! Glad it's changed!

Hannah kate:Do u feel burning on the inside of your vagina with pelvic floor dysfunction? I have been having severe burning pain inside and problems with my urinary system
@kikib84343 жыл бұрын
@@sephorareynolds5786 I deal with this a lot due to endometriosis, past chronic utis and a tilted uterus, hypertonic pelvic muscles/PFD and pelvic organ prolapses I'm trying to heal from. If you don't have a UTI, that burning can definitely be from hypertonic pelvic muscles. Our bodies are funny things sometimes. Doing pelvic relaxation exercises from the videos on this channel and femfusion fitness can make a huge, magical difference. Also destress as much as you can, eat well, move your body, meditate or just relax and listen to soothing music or affirmations. It takes a little work and time to relax those muscles but if that's the issue, these things can turn everything around for you. Of course, see your doctor and explain everything and you should see a good pelvic physiotherapist to determine if this is your issue. I hope this helps. Dealing with a lot of pelvic issues and general health issues myself so I know how things like this can be devastating, especially when it's hard to get help or answers from your doctor. Take care, big hugs!

They also recommended pelvic floor exercises. I found this video and just watched it to get an idea of what I'll need and to prepare myself. Hi Laura, thank you for sharing! With the ball exercise, you should build up slowly, starting with smaller/softer ball and with a shorter time to start. I wouldn’t do more than 5 minutes but definitely work up to that and listen to the body always. Hi I’ve suffered with pain and spasm everyday for last 5 years in my levator ani muscles on my right side. I’ve been told it came about due to me tensing these muscles when I became anxious. And it then became i vicious cycle. This video has really helped and the squat move you do especially. Do you think it’s possible to rid myself of pain completely if I keep these release exercises up and also what’s your opion on biofeedback treatment?
@TheFlowerEmpowered4 жыл бұрын
Hi Nick, it is definitely possible to rid yourself of pain. I view these exercises as a way to communicate with your nervous system that things are ok. The more you practice relaxing and letting go, the easier it will be to relax your pelvic floor. I would add yoga nidra body-scanning meditation exercises and that will further help you to release tension in the body. Biofeedback tells you what the muscle tone is at a given time. I would always ask “why” are going to do it. Let me know how you get on 🙂
@fabritzeo4 жыл бұрын
The Flower Empowered thank you for your reply, I will definitely have a look at the yoga you suggested and keep up the pelvic floor release exercises. I just heard about biofeedback could be good because I feel I’ve subconsciously held tension in those muscles for so long I think my brain has forgotten who to let go and relax. It’s like I said even when I’m not having a spasm I feel like my attention is constantly on that place and I didn’t know if biofeedback could my help relearn how to let that muscle relax again. I will keep you updated for sure and thank you for your great videos Nick
