Ellie’s is a gem, similar to the Spruce Goose in Port Townsend. I love Arlington, always lots of cool aviation activities there to watch while you each your pancake or hamburger. 🍔🥤

@@GingerThePlane Flew to AWO once a couple of years ago at night just for a touch n' go. Sounds like it's time to stop in. Who said commercial time building can't be fun? Looks like your out of BLI? The crew car at the FBO there is this old cop car that has wonky gears. Worked great to stop and get ramen though!

@@ats8911 yup, KBLI is my home base. I’m trying to capture all of the airports here in NW WA and have plans to visit KTIW this summer. A friend bases his Luscombe 8A there, looking fwd to seeing the bridges and checking out The Hub (if it’s still there).

@@GingerThePlane I have always thought this area deserves more KZbin clout than it gets. Have been waiting for some quality videos of flying around the area. The Puget Sound is truly a hidden gem. I did a LOT of my instrument rating doing approaches up at BLI. Taxiing next to an A320 is wild. haha. TIW is such a cool airport, just the right size. The Hub is up and running and under new ownership if I'm not mistaken. Back porch is heated and has an outdoor area with corn hole and Bavarian style benches/tents. Gas at PAVCO is cheapest. Drop a line when you come down! I don't live too far away.

I’ve been to KAWO a bunch of times, but have never stopped at the restaurant. I’ll be sure to try it next time I’m out there. Thanks for the video!
