AWESOME MAN! That's really Interesting Alex, I was wondering if in FUSION360 at this day we could for instance put kitbash part on curved surface like ZBrush do with IMM or not? I remember RHINO can do it, what about FUSION?

Guess I'm a bit late for this, but my best shot at this was to use the Hole command to create an indent normal to the surface, then using the align tool to snap your kitbash part to that. You can manage the depth of the alignment by setting the depth of the hole. Another nice solution is to pattern the faces of the first feature using the Pattern Along Path tool, which has the option to reorient the object along the normal of the curve. Works wonders in combo with the Split Faces to create the path. Btw, having IMM-like functions in Fusion would be great, and is probably not even that complex to script, it's just one of those functions Fusion isn't really meant to have-- I think the Autodesk Fusion team would be amazed and horrified at this workflow! Commenting a year later just to compare with other possibilities!

Do you preffer Fusion or Max to create hard surface? Seems like that fusion is a is Zbrush for this kind of modeling.

Did you create those little kitbash parts with zbrush alpha brushes or something?
