Super helpful tip: Drop the pieces you have and talk to brimstone to get more, repeat until your inventory is full of pieces. Then just have the chart up and it is a lot easier than converting with less pieces.

Helpful Tip: The Chart tells you what the number values are, once you get certain ones set don't touch them and just use the extras you have. You can click the Exchange Button REPEATEDLY to get different parts of the same value.

To all those who have a number you dont see. The goal is to use the values of the number to make the number you need. For example mine was 26. I looked at the chart i took a yellow pentagon(15) and orange pentagon (10) which = 25. i only need 1 more, boom red circle(26). Any questions? :)

BTW- edit- You cant just go attacking evil creatures after you kill the first one. You have to have a dialogue with the person in the hut before the cute creatures become evil, or else they will stay cute and you cant attack them

I don’t know if you figured it out but this is what the Wiki says for this quest. (Note: the yellow circle can never be obtained. If the puzzle requires a value of three, you must use the red triangle instead.)

Word of advice for the puzzle: Don't feel like you HAVE to use the exchange system to find the pieces you need, you should instead just keep asking Brimstail for more pieces, and keep dropping what he gives you until he gives you what you need. However, he may not give you EVERYTHING you need, but this helped me in ADDITION to using the exchange system, as there was a couple of pieces that we just not coming up for me in the exchange system

No mention of a heavy cell phone in the item list, had to dig out my old Nokia 8210 to hold down the spacebar which added on 10 mins to the quest. Awesome guide as always, I'm now close to having a quest cape for the first time ever (on an Ironman account too) thanks to you :D

If youre OUT OF charms and divided your peices for LESSEr amounts, you can drop all of them and get more from brimstail and pick them back up(just dont take long to return). Really wish slayerM wouldve mentioned this part- i was wasting an hr trying to shuffle up for just +2 of a higher number -_- my combination/solution: 2/32/10 orang circ/indi pent.orange cir/red pent.red tri.orang circle

Best Advice n this Quest : Drop the shapes and ask for more a bunch of times then pick up all the shapes. Now You can do it fast and dont need to swap shapes Like so people see please

tip for anyone doing puzzle part in future. ignore the fact blue circle and indigo circle. focus on getting the equivalent vaule of thos 2 pieces. because they never show up. example blue circle is 1 green and 1 red then make that into red pent to sovle a number 5 puzzle. sadly guides so a poor job in text form that is in explaining how blue circle and indigo circle never show up. good guide tho. sadly silly puzzles during the quest ruined enjoyment of said quest.

bug in quest, if you leave cave before killing evil creature, the evil creature will dissapear, and you cant complete the quest, this bug hasnt been fixed in 3 years
