Hey just an fyi, forward is usually abbreviated "fwd" in english to avoid confusion with the word "for". Great points otherwise though, loved the vid!

Good stuff. I came into SD2 in February or so and still don’t have a good sense of all the divisions after 200 hrs since there are so many. Much happier to be coming in with only 23 so I can make myself a cheat sheet of the strengths and weaknesses you outlined here.

82nd and 11e are still arguably the best divisions in the game even after their cost and unit adjustments, their lack of heavy armor is made up by the fact you get into zone and defensive positions before your opponent, and then you can area deny with the amount of high pen ATGMs u can field. your air tab makes up for the fact you don't have any long range AAA, and 11e gets the best manpad with the mistrals, avengers have a ridiculous reload time and stingers are pretty powerful as well.

I love the the infantry on 11e. You get resolute shock units (legionaries marines) and antichar squads with the double apilas. And you get a lot of them

5e needs some love. The chasseurs should get the amx 10p Milan. They should get an extra card of brennus. Lastly all amx 30 should get an extra 5% of accuracy. They miss so much that they can’t even be considered as glass cannon snipers

Yeah 55% accuracy is kinda dumb considering the B2 had rather good FCS for its time.

Bless your wonderful work thank you. I have yet to try PACT in Early Access ( been trying to get better at NATO 5th Panzer; might need to try 2nd Panzer though), and I might give the 39th Gv Moto a shot now to see.

The 119th doesn't have weak infantry. It has amazing elite infantry, but in very small numbers and only 1 card of Motostrelki available. On maps with a lot of CQC, it gets ground down very quickly. You can prolong the suffering by filling your recon tab with infantry squads as well, but then you're just wasting activation points on what's not an optimal for the div. And you will still not have sufficient numbers to survive attrition for long.

chieftain spam can be brutal for 1st AD, perfect deck for pitched battles and to just grind your enemy down. those warrior appliques upvetted are nasty also

Don't mind me, just sorting divisions onto countries for easier navigation Helldivers irl: 3rd Armored, 8th Infantry, 24th Infantry, 82nd Airborne, 11th Cavalry West Germany: 2nd Grenadier, 5th Panzer, TKS Bri'ish: 1st Armored, 2nd Infantry, Berlin Command (wtf are these dudes lmao) Croissant: 5th Blindee, 11th Airborne C&C Red Alert 3: 27th Motostrelki, 39th Motostrelki, 79th Tank, 35th Airborne, 119th Tank Regiment, 6th Moto Bridage East Germany: 4th Mot Schutzen, 7th Panzer (uh-oh), Berlin Group, KDA Damn, a lot less than I expected 🤔

Would you recommend 8th US Inf Mech or 24th US Inf for a beginner player? Trying to find one div to main, and I don't like pure armored divs like 3rd armored because I keep loosing my tanks 😂

@@justvid366 I would say 8th is slightly easier. Though if you want Bradleys, 24th is fine too :)

Man I just love the 8th Infantry to bits, I even warmed up to American inf squads. I dislike the pace of 1v1 so I avoid those, but in team games that division is an all-round juggernaut.
