If you visit tradepac during not so peek periods and when the staff are free, they can help build your pc for free considering if you bought the necessary parts to build one. Don't worry they are very experienced and can fully assemble a pc for around 20 minutes with quite good cable management. (im referring to quite a simple build with not much complications in a relatively good case that supports adequate cable management)

@eyeswideshut81104 жыл бұрын
People should really understand that many stores with different names are actually owned by the same owner. Red flags for anyone recommending this place as a bargain haven. People should also know that even if the stores have different owners, many have arrangements to move stocks around. In short, this is a tourist trap and even locals fall prey to it. You should go there knowing what you want, how much you want to pay and have realistic expectations of "good deals". Most likely Lazada offers better deals since the sellers are mostly the same ones you find in Sim Lim.
@ChristineTohXH4 жыл бұрын
In the past, paying by cash is the preferred choice at Sim Lim so sometimes u can ask the salesperson whether there's a "pay by cash" price not sure if that's still applicable now but that will be one of the consideration too if you wish to pay by credit card, then online is a good choice for earning Shopback/Credit Card Rebates or Cashback/Shopee coins, and paying by instalments, etc.

Julian do any shops allow/let people price match?
@JulianTechTM4 жыл бұрын
I'm actually not sure leh. never like doing that haha
@sleepy_dobe4 жыл бұрын
@@JulianTechTM I think most shops also don't like it. Imagine as a shop-owner and a customer comes to you, give you a list of parts, then look at your prices and start telling you, Part ii Shop B this price, Part iv Shop C that price etc etc and ask you to match all the lowest prices. You probably won't be happy also. My strategy is, if I really want the absolutely lowest price for all my parts, buy each part separately from the lowest priced shop and pray I don't need any support from them. If not, give the whole parts list to the shops, and just buy everything from the shop with the total lowest price.

@afterpatchgamedad72154 жыл бұрын
You can look for build guides to help choose components... Or you can buy from aftershock... Got pros and cons. Pcpartpicker good place to start
@itzthedude9714 жыл бұрын
What I suggest is that if you are looking to build a gaming PC on a budget, go for aftershock. Saves u a lot of time and trouble of building an entire PC from scratch. You don't need to know which part goes where, or what goes wrong when fully assembled. You wanna do a hybrid? Invest your time into reading up all of the PC components and build em yourself. If budget is not your concern, go blow it all on SLS, if it is, consider Amazon. Here's the catch, Amazon parts warranty are usually overseas so u do have to keep that in mind. 1.3k-1.6k sgd with monitor and peripherals is good enough.
@weiwenwwe20664 жыл бұрын
First time can just buy aftershock first, in future after you have experience then you can DIY.

@tanhongyi71804 жыл бұрын
Bizgram had them earlier this year. I got my 2080 Ti FE from them. Think they shelved most by now after the RTX 3000 series announcement. But Bizgram though, their prices are freaking high and at times when I asked them if they had something specific I'm looking for they'd say they ran out of stock despite that item placed in their glass display in front of everyone. The last couple of recent months, looking for a SSD was a tough nut to crack due to short supply.
@blitzkreep49054 жыл бұрын
Tan Hong Yi I know bizgram carried them but I would never have even bothered asking them because of their ridiculously high mark up. I managed to get my 2080S FE from Shopee. Definitely wasn’t the premium that Bizgram was asking.
@tanhongyi71804 жыл бұрын
@@blitzkreep4905 But still it's true that the RTX 20 series FE models were rare, no one had them in SLS except for Bizgram. Wished I'd searched Carousell deeper, just a month after I got my $2.3k SGD card(it's as overpriced as Asus ROG Strix) from Bizgram then I saw someone in Carousell put them up for $1.75k. Hurts like hell, and not gonna look at Bizgram for anything anymore.

Tradepac is the cheapest imho HOWEVER as stated in one of the comments , you need to know what you want . Do your own research and make a list then go down to purchase . Ignore what they try to push you to buy cause they don't know much . A Guy tried to push my friend to get a wayy overrated PSU and told him that a H series could overclock which is complete bs. What's worse is when I went past , I heard the guy inside talking on the phone and recommended a guy 2080ti instead of a 3080 as they didn't have stock and he said it's almost the same. LOL. Go to their price list online , write down all their prices . And then send them a message or go down. Cause the prices may not be as what they state on their website. But other then that , their a good shop all around for their prices and their service. Just know what you want .
