I Love Quickhits. My favorite game is the 5 physical reel original. 3 bonus symbols on reels 2,3,4 and you picked match 3. I remember how excited I would get when I was younger and way poorer, when I would pick 20 spins, and the X3 for the 3rd case. I also remember sitting at a bank of those machines for hours with a bunch of random people and we were always hitting the 5, or 6 Quickhit jackpots all night. Whenever I see one of these machines in a casino, I ALWAYS play it.

I live in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Our local casinos still have the original Quick Hit reels. The reels themselves look a bit ragged, they survived Hurricane Katrina. But I still enjoy playing them. They also have various newer versions.

Firecracker is another high volatile machine, similar to this one. You’re basically playing for the bonus, which doesn’t come too often. Slot designers are very clever with the graphics they use these days. They’ve come a long way. Since you are a slot tech, perhaps you can go behind the scenes and do an interview with a slot designer and take us through the process from where do they get their ideas to a final product. Would be very interesting.

My home casino and others nearby mainly have 1 cent denom versions with a few allowing 5-10 cents up to 25 cents multi-denom choices which if i play Quick Hits, i choose 1 cent denom, mid range bet until i get my bankroll up a bit, then i switch to max bet to be eligible for the jackpot amounts. I actually sat down at a machine last week, loaded the remaining freeplay i had of $15, got a bonus round on 1st spin, 20+5 free games with 3x multiplier and bonus wound up winning $147 so i upped to max bet of $2 & a few spins in, I got 8 quick hits for $2,052 win.

Not sure if this has been answered before. But there are different multi line slot machines. 5 lines, 9 lines, 15 lines, 20 lines etc. Is it beneficial to play more lines or to play a bigger multiplayer. For example, if I’m playing a 9 line machine, instead of playing all 9 lines and betting x 1 on it I play 3 lines and bet x 3 on it? Hope my question made sense!

There's a different QH game I like to play where it's a $1 game, max $2, which is more my speed. It has decent line hits. But I was not impressed when I played this one at Peppermill in Reno not long ago - mostly because it took my money :)

Hate that the the majority of these types of slots are contingent on bonuses to get any kind of decent return. Back in the day slots would give a proportional amount of line hits to jackpots. We would win $1000 with 40 or 50 dollars when the coin machines were hot. Shame that its all a bonus chase now!
