I thought the brown stains were from hard water. Baking soda!! YES!

you should only use distilled water in it and not steep the tea in it either use a tea pot to steep the tea and only use the kettle to boil distilled water, it will last much longer that way

But why?
@andreamitchell47583 жыл бұрын
@@michaelscottland4239 because calcium and mineral deposits will build up in the kettle over time if you use distilled water there will be no deposits because distilled water is pure and evaporates clean leaving nothing behind

I totally agree but the only place I can get distilled water is a pharmacy or grocer and it’s always in a huge plastic jug . I drink way too much tea to buy that much distilled water. It’s a pain to make because it’s must completely vaporize but I’ll try it at least once!

Do you know how to brew coffee in it?

Hi! Today is January 3, 2021 and I’m playing to buy this from Best Buy as deal of the day 50% off for $29.99. Is this stainless steel and glass or plastic? Please let me know if it’s a good deal. Thanks.

This is an American thing I believe. You never...clean a coffee or tea kettle. You may rinse it of course. It's no different than ceramic tea pots...it adds seasoning as you use it. The stains are a badge of honor.

Yes! I’m American and I never wash mine because I use double filtered water. I do was the outside to get the dust and/or peanut butter hand prints off ☺️
