I’d be unhappy with those gaps on both sides of the sink as a homeowner. You should have checked if the sides are straight first. Having caulking to fill it in will look sloppy. That being said, I will definitely tell my installer to account for such possibility.

This is a good video of what NOT to do, 1) using power tools next to an expensive porcelain sink, lucky didn't get that thing chipped. 2) That cut was awful, taking proper measurements or creating a cardboard template to transfer the sink cutout would have allowed a better fit without applying that much caulking around, if cabinets where a dark color that would have looked awful. Once he said get it done hail of high water I knew it was going to be unprofessional.

You shouldn't comment on things you know nothing about. Let me guess you've made some DIY projects for your wife now you're a pro.

@@SuperVPro I'm not a Pro but I know when something is done right, that sink installation you show here was a sloppy job. I would not do that myself cause it might be worst than what you did but I would pay a professional to doit and If i see that big gap filled with caulking I will not be happy. pay attention to detail and be open to criticism to Improve every day, no one is perfect man.

Great video. How much overhang is on the countertop over the sink?

If that were my sink, I would replace that cabinet front, or come up with some trim work to cover up those cuts.

That gets filled in by scribes by the cabinet guy.
