OMG Caroline, you’ve just explained my 40 something spots. I’ve been getting more spots lately and thought it was hormones, purely because of my age. Oh love I have 2 off topic questions: 1. I use the drunk elephant c-firma in the mornings but I have an elta MD sunscreen that touts Niacinamide - will that render my (absurdly expensive) c-firma useless? 2. I have acquired the Clinique moisture surge supercharge concentrate and the dr jart ceramidin liquid. I run combo to oily but I feel so DRY and tight this time of year from the heat being on. Can I combine the two? Or is that overkill that may break me out?

Coeliacs can also have issues with skin eruptions from ingesting gluten, I get dermatitis herpetiformis if I consume gluten, it appears on my scalp, elbows, hands, ankles, knees face (around the neck and hairline). I also can't be around flour (queues outside the bakery have to be avoided). My whole face swelled up and I had to go on steroids to reduce the swelling when I microwaved a wheatbag and wore it draped around my neck. Skin eruptions from food and the contaminants 'flying' between dishes and being airborne is a thing.....it really is (says me who is terrified to sit next to someone with a crusty bread roll on an aircraft)!
