As the figure strains to catch the nunchuk, i realize the stick of the nunchuk, the handle, are generally longer. But there are shorter handle nunchuks, albeit those have longer chains/ropes/cables.

I've seen them come in all shapes and sizes, probably tweaked to the preferences of the user, but yes a lot of online references have much shorter chain or cord between the sticks

@@xcorpeo yeah. The chains is shorter because the stick is longer. I digress, but did you ever see the telescoping nunchucks? It's a compact handle until you swing them and then the momentum keeps them extended. I'm reminded of them by Quick Kick's short handle.

Man, I just tried heating and popping the shoulders out. That shit was never coming out. I pulled and eventually the butterfly joint pulled away frim the body.

thank you so much for releasing. These kind of videos helps a ton. Did you think about modeling his neck like you did with the other G.I. Joe classified or his range is actually pretty good already in my opinion, but I might still cut a tiny piece out the inside back neck.

I'm surprised - Hasbro might have learned from my videos 😂 The joint already has a notch in the neck, so his range is fine! Check your copy when u get it in hand 😉

@@Abbotttdesign I've fixed A LOT of necks. The ones that come with the dumbbell joint have terrible range. They only started this running change to improve the dumbbell joint with Quick Kick

How do you know the pegs would free up the motion in the butterfly joints?

There's a channel inside the figure torso that those long pegs fit into. The reason the backwards articulation is so bad is because the pegs move forward and hit the front of that channel. Clipping the tips of the pegs off stops that from happening.

@@Abbotttdesign the plastic on the torso is harder than the arms. The sculpt of the torso is also sharp around the lateral pectoral, and 'cuts' into the arms if u push em too far. The plastic peg exists to prevent the arms from getting into contact with the torso. Quick Kick has no paint on his arms, so there's minor scuffing that goes away if u don't push the arms too hard. In Marvel Legends like 2022 retro Ben Reilly, there's no plastic in the shoulder to hinder the joint, and heavy paint scuffing on the arms happens from normal use

@@xcorpeo that's some awesome info! Thanks! The Ben Reily Marvel Legends looks great. When that character was introduced in the comics, I loved his practical approach on design. Now there's a figure of him even with toe articulation! Thanks for the warning about his arms and paint. ✌️

Hasbro made the pegs long so that you can't push too far forward or back. The love to limit their action figures as much as possible 🤦🏼‍♂️ that's why I watch Xcorpeo vids to make their action figures Better and more Action* figure lol

I would have used thinner wire and used two wires intertwining them to look like an actual chain.

It's not a replacement for chain since it looks nothing like one. Some nunchucks come with cords instead of chain link, and I'm fine with it that way. The ideal would be metal wire encased in the stock rubbery plastic chain
