Hi Arekusu, yes, the B5U projector supports HDCP 2.2, so high resolution (FHD/UHD) contents can be streamed via HDMI. And it supports 4K 60Hz. Regarding 3D, CHiQ B5U projector do not support 3D. Actually, 3D support is withdrawn from all major broadcasting service providers and TV manufactures now due to the extra cost and poor user experience since 2016. Hi, the noise level of B5U is 30dB from the distance of 2 meters away from the projector. When it is in operation, you should be not bothered by the noise.

Hi, yes, the projector can project 125 inch screen, for projectors, it all depends on the projector's throw ratio. With the throw ratio of 0.21:1, the projector need to placed about 31cm away from the wall/screen. For best viewing experience on B5U, we'd recommend a 100'' screen. @@ranjeetchoudhary Hi Ranjeet, Thanks for the reply. The sharpness won't be affected by the distance between the projector and the screen, you can always adjust the lens focus, it won't be an issue. Regarding projecting on non-ALR screen, 1.1 gain will be good for the projector, however, the only thing that we will be worrying about is the screen itself. Normal projector screens won't be suitable for UST projectors unless it has some kind of tension mechanism which keep the screen perfectly flat. For UST projectors like the B5U, because the distance between the projector and the screen is so short, any tiny bumps can create shadows when the beam hits sideways and any curves on the screen will cause image distortion on the projected image. So, in short, it is not absolutely necessary for you to get an ALR screen, however, you need to make sure that your screen is perfectly flat, otherwise, it won't be suitable for the projector. Hi Jan, the B5U has an 0.47" DLP 4K UHD chip which has a physical mirror matrix of 1920 x 1080. It uses four-phase pixel shifting to create the 8.3 million pixels for UHD 4K resolution. The pixel shifting technology help to reduce the cost and make 4K much more affordable. It definitely reveal much more image details compared with FHD 1080P. As for True 4K (projectors which produces 3,840x2,160 discrete pixels), it is great, the problem is the price which brings True 4K projector into a totally different category. True 4K projector can easily come with a price tag over 9,000USD.

@@dhinnovation3386 Thx, I basically knew but wasnt sure for that specific chip they mention in the specifications. It seems at least that the chip is newer than the xiaomi one. Im really wondering why I havent heard about this projector before...if the input lag really is as low as 30-35ms it would be amazing. You did a comparison with the viewsonic, I would love to see one with a xiaomi of any kind. :)

@@Shishaaa88a Hi Jan, we will make another video to show how we test the input lag and show you the result soon. From what we tested, the input lag under the dedicated game model is 30-35ms. Changhong is a giant, known brand with 60 years history (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Changhong). In 2004, 90% of TV exported from China to the USA are made by them. They are the official sponsor for Belgium National Football Team and Dortmund BVB football club in Germany. Changhong laser projectors are new to the overseas market, there are only few models available at the moment and the B5U is their most affordable option so far. Compared with Xiaomi or other brands from China, more than products specification and performance difference, Changhong offers fully localised product (Xiaomi/Fengmi and many others' products come with Chinese user interface, you need to install extra apps at your own risk to get a partial English version - if that is possible) with local warranty network, so you do not need to worry for return/repair etc, which makes big difference for the customer. @@dhinnovation3386 Do you know if the MEMC function works on 4k content as well? The Epson LS500B for example does only provide interpolation for 1080p content (I guess its more demanding on 4k). And what about the native contrast? And it seems that the vertical offset (distance between projector and screen vertically) is rather high? Can that be adjusted? What is the offset for 120" ? So many questions...

@@Shishaaa88a Hi Jan, MEMC works for 4K contents well on B5U. The native contrast is 15,000:1. Regarding the contrast, different manufactures using different means to test and claim the contrast ratio which make it very difficult to understand on the published contrast ratio, check our comparison video between B5U and Viewsonic X-10 4K at (kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKGwqp9petWUrJY). Viewsonic claims 3,000,000:1 on the X-10 4K, you can see what its contrast performance in the real world from that comparison video. Regarding the offset, the offset ratio is 10% (±5), for 120" screen, the distance between the projector and the screen vertically is about 12.5 inch or 32cm.
