Hi Louise I have created a FB page called Memory Book Crafting and I hope you won't mind that I added a link to your wonderful clear demos.

I know it’s been a while since you made this video. I absolutely love how you used the ribbon for the interactive page. I think it will lovely for baby books for my two nieces arriving in the next few months. Do you have any idea roughly how long the ribbon is you used for the lacing? Thank you so much for this beautiful page idea. 💜

Apologies for not replying sooner but your comment has only just appeared. The ribbon measured approx 30cm. Hope that helps x

I think it is called a feather stitch that you are creating.

Lou love the video. I have a question please. Would I construct my book (2nd way) first and then put on my papers or make the complete page and then add the papers and flaps? I have not seen the baby book you made for the launch where can I see it please?

Joyce, my preference is to make my book and then add the pages. One of the reasons I do it this way is just in case I do not have enough of a gap between pages. I can then assess how many fkaps/pockets I can add etc. Why not give both a go and see which one suits your style. Not sure what happened to baby boom video but will see what I can discover. Many thanks for popping over and tour lovely comment x

Lou thank you for your reply. I have never made a memory book but I know that I just want simple pages for the first one. If I make the book using your second video when I have put tape on and joined the two together if I think that this space is too much can I cut it down before I attach it to the spine?

Another great video Lou!! I'm so glad you did a video on how to assemble these, I keep getting asked to make a video on it, but haven't found the time lol, now I can point them towards yours :D xxx
