I use conditioner mixed with oil to moisturizer my fro and pink lotion to seal. My fro be poppin shine and curls when it dry completely.

After I finish braiding my hair i take vinegar and shampoo and put a plastic bag over my hair and have it sit for about 10-20 mins and then rinse it out to take the chemicals out

Help! How do you deal with the tangling and therefore breakage from having it out in a fro? Is regularly wearing a fro helpful in length retention I know it's low manipulation but.. ? I'm trying to love myself as I am and take a break from the other hair I put on life and I'm lazy so I was thinking I could just do a fro everyday but the tangling scares me.

A fro isn’t a protective style per say because your hair is exposed and the ends can rub against things. It’s also not low manipulation because you have to touch it and fluff it every day. I don’t ONLY wear protective styles I actually barely wear them. This video is showing what I do not what you have to do. My hair doesn’t get more or less tangled in any particular style. I have wash day every 2-3 weeks and detangle then.

My hair used to tangle like crazy when I wore it in a fro. But now I coat the ends with a little oil and wear a satin bonnet. There are still some tangles, but it's gotten much better. Hope this helps.
