Quick Numark MixDeck Review

@isurfrosarito The booth volume is usually for a monitor that's in the booth with you. Sometimes its hard to hear the track playing out clearly so having a monitor will help you hear when it comes to beatmatching.

@mo5that3d5 I'm running VDJ 7 PRO. You can also loop in and out when ever you like with VDJ aswell. You dont need to hold the button to activate a loop. All you do is hit loop in and when you get to your loop out point just hit the loop out button. Or if you wanna 8 bar loop just hit loop out and it will automaticlly loop. Bro this thing with VDJ is perfect. What are you using??

@gcastro723 , Yeah if your using VDJ just open the Advanced Config and set your decks like this, Deck1-MixdeckASIO-Output 1/2 Deck2-MixdeckASIO-Output 3/4 Deck3-MixdeckASIO-Output 1/2 Deck4-MixdeckASIO-Output 3/4 Then youll have to go into the Mappers tab and set it for "Left/Right" Holla if you need anything else.

@soundinsurgent712 both decks are loaded with cd's and the selectors for both are DECKS.and i cant get any sound out of it.bought two rca cables already.and ive inserted into both the BOOTH and MASTER.what do u think is the problem?

@3dvggTech I mean it doesnt control the software. When using a MIDI controller if you turn the volume down on the controller you can see the knob on the screen move aswell. Hope that makes sense. Any questions just holla!

@Kilmer1111 Go to the Numark site choose the Mixdeck and look under the downloads section. Download the firmware and read the 'read me'.

i cant get a sound out of my numark mixdeck. i had an RCA cable from master to the amplifier and booth to monitors. what do you think is the problem?only hissing sound and flutters. help

@aceman42 What is the selector set too, CD, PC or AUX and what are you using CD's, Flash drive or software??

@3dvggTech Yeah thats it. Think of it as using timecodes with an exturnal mixer. Using an exturnal mixer is better anyways. It sounds better in my opinion. Do you have a Mixdeck? Or are you looking to get 1? Holla back........

It meens you cant use the knobs on the mixer section to control the Dj software.

@soundinsurgent712 Im thinking about it. I almost picked one up the other day but i read some forums and watched some youtube videos that said that the mixdeck dosent run that well with virtual dj. I think im gunna pick one up soon though. Its between the mixdeck and the mixtrack pro

you need to configure the latency in order to make it "Scratch" better.

@mo5that3d5 I can even run all 4 decks with this thing and a Korg NaoKontrol. Hell I could run 6 decks with it if I wanted to...............can traktor do that, NO!!

@mo5that3d5 WRONG! For 1 you can only use timecodes with Serato.............the jog wheels can not be mapped in Serato. Second I dont like Traktor its ugly and its the same way bro.........

Ok it's obvious y'all have never used VDJ or don't understand the power of VDJ script..... If you wanted to you could control up to 99 decks using just the MixDeck! I'll bet anybody a grand it can be done.........anybody wanna take my offer???
