Quick OG Techno jam 25/10/23

A rarity tonight, a spare hour or so to knock out a quick jam.
I wanted to do something with "that" 90's techno stab so sampled it from the source.
For those that dont know, its from Sequal - Its not too late (dub) and is around the 4:30 mark.
I chopped out the bit I wanted with Audition then done the rest on the 707. A bit of normalisation, trimming and reverb.
I tried to get the 8S snare sounding like N-Joi's snares, its somewhere close but i'd love to know what they used back in the day.
Drums are from the TR-8S and one paltry sound from the Access Virus.
I'm working on a bigger techno project using the Virus in Multimode sequenced with the 707 but timeframe is unknown.

Ha, small isnt it? Nah its a Mackie ProFX compact mixer (no DJ crossfader). I'd like a much bigger one but literally dont have the space for one
