Dose the engine and hydraulic temperature run cooler with the disk mulcher over the drum or is there no noticeable difference?

No drop in temp but it never got hot either. Operating temps are pretty much a set temp in a cat it seems. If anything is running poorly I can see the temps go up a bit but typically not to bad. This head didn’t get hot at all.

I do like it. It is not an everyday mulcher for the type of work I do but it’s a quality product that seems to be built to last like all other diamond products and it does have a technological advantage over any other option so it’s a no brainer.
