Hi, Great Video! I was just wondering how many quick revision videos you have left to do. Thanks for all the help.

great vid, is it possible you go through what happens to values of enthalpy changes (eg enthalpy of solution) and temperature changes when for example adding a larger volume of water or greater mass of a substance (saw exam questions on that ocr a) don't understand thanks!

Hello sir, the 4th step on the last slide to plot a calibration curve(peak are against concentration), is it to plot the peak area of each concentration made in the standard solution? And for the last step is the peak area the one that has the highest area out of all the concentrations of the standard solutions? Thanks.

How do you work out the area under the peak for the gas chromatography, would they give you this number or not? Thank you 🙏🏽

Thank you so much for these videos! I have a question, I do edexcel A level and I have an alternative to practical paper and I wanted to know what experimental procedures I should know of . We don't go to the lab so before doing past papers, I didn't know what suction filtration was or what a thiele tube was Is there anything that I should know in specific ?

some person Have you read your specification? It should all be in there. You could always check out my PAG playlist. Good luck!

some person Have you come across chemrevise? Really good site for revision resources. Here’s the link to the practical notes for edexcel chemrevise.files.wordpress.com/2019/03/practical-guide-edexcel.pdf Hope it’s helpful

@@MaChemGuy Thank you so much but my exam is in hours and I probably won't have enough time to look through 40 pages. I had a quick skim and it looks like I know most things on there. I also watched your PAG videos.. they're so so great. Although, there is one thing I couldn't find in the PAG videos and in the notes, the use of a two necked round bottom flask. I don't understand the purpose of it or why it's used. In this paper drive.google.com/drive/folders/1niDv1-R_HIHD0D1ZsaBJhMb2g5ypSYJe Q4 It is used , although we're not asked about its purpose,I'd love to just get an idea

Hi, I have a question. You know the standard solutions are these for each of the different components of the mixture or only the standard solution of the actual compound. Thanks.

So if you look at 1:18, those are the different volatile components in the mixture from the actual compound you investigated. Then, say if you wanted to know the concentration of the component in peak 5.. you'd make a standard solution of that COMPONENT that u identified as being peak 5 and then you'd plot a calibration curve. So in short to answer your question- you'd make a standard solution of the COMPONENT ur trying to investigate e.g peak 5 or peak 4 etc xx

Thanks! Do you have a video on converting Gibbs free energy into the equation Y=MX+C then finding temperature which it becomes feasible from this? I can’t find it and would be super helpful
